1 – Switch on
System and setup for transmission to Zoom
a) at the sacrament table – press <Audio an> button
b) at the stream desk on the podium – <mit Video> button
c) at the stream desk in the AV reck on the stage – press <Erweitert>
The next steps take place at the locked control rack on the stage.
The key is located in the key box in the bishop’s office at Platz 29
2 - Zoom setup
All important subsystems such as cameras and audio/video distributors have been switched on.
In addition, the PC may still need to be switched on.
Please ask the bishop or the excecutive secretary for all passwords for the PC.
Start the zoom button on the desktop.

Important settings must be made to ensure that the meeting is transmitted without interference:
a) Start audio
check whether the organ music is being transmitted
b) Start video
then right-click on the display: fix or focus for everyone
c) Security settings:
Users are not allowed to share a screen
Users are not allowed to unmute themselves
Once the audio settings have been set up, they must be activated on the main page by selecting them in the top right-hand corner. Activation must be carried out each time Zoom is restarted. Activation is lost after exiting Zoom!

Micro 1: Control of the stand microphone or the wireless microphones
Kapelle an Kulturs: Chapel and cultural hall sound is switched on or off
Projekt. Leinwd: (press and hold for <5 seconds) The projector on the ceiling and the screen are raised and lowered. The change is delayed by 30 seconds.
–> Special feature: The projector is triggered into maintenance mode by pressing the button 5 times
Lampe drücken: Switches the lamp on the projector

Abendmahl: Camera on communion table with sound – zoom with freeze frame: short pause
HDMI zeigen: Screen + Zoom – image from the connected device on the console with sound
Pult Mikro: Additional internal voice activation
Saal-Mikro: not implemented
Audio=>Zoom: Additional internal voice activation on Zoom
Kapelle Lautst. +:increases the internal microphone volume
Kapelle Lautst. -: lowers the internal volume of the microphones
Kapelle Lautst. Reset: Preset volume level

4 - Operation on the StreamDeck in the video rack
The StreamDeck is located in the AV rack. It replaces the video mixer and the joystick control.
Selection: <Setup>
Kapelle an Kulturs. : the sound from the chapel is transmitted to the Kultursaal – this switches off the microphone connections in the chapel.
Projekt. Leinwad: (press and hold for <5 seconds) The projector on the ceiling and the screen are raised and lowered. The change is delayed by 30 seconds.
–> Special feature: The projector is triggered into maintenance mode by pressing the button 5 times
Lampe drücken: Switches the lamp on the projector

Dialog mit Zoom: Audio from Zoom into the chapel

The cameras are controlled using a joystick controller:
Camera1 : 0001
Camera2 : 0002
Change with CAM
Control via joystick (turn the knob to zoom and swivel the stick to change direction)
PRESET: save last camera position with number and preset
CALL: Call up camera position with number and call
The settings are no longer available after the system is switched off.
6 - Switch off the video system
AV rack
- Stop Zoom meeting for everyone
- Do not shut down PC
- Lock AV rack enclosure
Sarament desk: Confirm <Audio aus> button
(also switches off the devices in the AV rack except the PC)
Return the key from the AV rack to the bishop’s office.
Place 29 in the key box

Quick support: Stake conference
The following preparations must be made for the stake conference for Zoom transmission:
Open AV rack side
Side table next to AV rack
Power supply for the devices (1x LAN switch, monitor, 2x laptop) on the side table
Monitor and StreamDeck on the side table. Connect monitor to video distributor for camera control
Connect LAN switch to router in AV cabinet via cable (3m)
1 x laptop as HOST for Zoom
1 x laptop as Co-HOST for presentations
Prepare 1 x PC in the AV rack as Co-HOST for sound and video transmission from the chapel
Trouble shooting
1 – Failure of the entire system
Check whether the system is de-energized: Fuse
Check whether the <Audio an> lights up green on the sacrament desk
If <Audio an> lights up green and the microphone on the podium does not work, there is a malfunction of the IP Relay: Reset IP Relay (follow instructions!!!)
2 – Failure of the microphones and camera 1:
The microphones in the chapel, the radio microphones and camera 1 receive their power from the silver multiple socket under the sacrament desk.
The cover can be removed. Please test whether the multiple socket is supplied with power.
The multiple socket is controlled by the IP Relay on the stage. If necessary, reset the IP relay (follow the instructions!!!)
3 – Failure of one of the cameras: The cameras are supplied with power via the IP relay. Check the cable connection to the cameras, otherwise reset the IP relay (follow the instructions!!!)
4 – Reset the IP Relay
The IP relay is installed in a gray box at head height on the stage to the right of the AV rack.
The key is on the box to open it
Attention! Only press the reset button (see picture) briefly. If the reset is prolonged, all IP settings will be deleted. In the latter case, set the ticket in the FIR App.
5 – Help: Help is available in Frankfurt via the facility management (FIR app of the church)
